Today’s Hispanics are always pushing boundaries. They are more outspoken, more involved in political outreach, creating movements and have built a new, more modern image of what success looks like for Latinos and Latinas in the US. However, that reality sometimes gets compromised when it comes to how the Latinx community is depicted in Hollywood, ads, and or media in general.

 

Nissan wanted to challenge that! We held a casting call for a Nissan Sentra commercial – the vehicle that refuses to compromise, and used it as a device to allow our Hispanic ambiculturals to speak for themselves and tell us how they want to be portrayed…without compromises.
